SPIRITUAL IS POLITICAL is an art curation and exhibition company. We blend the curation of space, art making, education, and design as a method for our practice. We exist to showcase soul provoking art that explores histories, realities, and narratives that often go unnoticed and erased. Through research and discussions amongst our community, we reflect a spiritual drive toward a more just world, which is a political stance that must be bold. Must be rooted.
The Spiritual is not about Religion. It is not about what faith you show up in and how that manifests itself in the world. The spiritual is about your values and intentions. This is political.
We have a revolving collection of acclaimed artists collaborating to produce admirable work that reflects everyday realities. We curate spaces for artists to connect, engage, and reflect. It is our mission to create conversational pieces and spaces that last beyond a singular moment.
We collaborate with some of the best art & education designers to provide exclusive material, rooted in the desire to show up as our best selves as we create a new world. In this world we prioritize Black/ Indigenous/ Queer/ Trans bodies, histories, and storytelling in the designers we work with and the concepts we produce.
